Routine Tasks at the End of Registration

Below are 'routine' tasks that the Administrator should do at the end of registration.

Change Settings

Settings are changed via Administrator:Options-Settings. (Note: Settings are not immediately reflected in the website. They are set for each User Session when they logon. You can click on the symbol on the Options-Settings page to immediately change Settings.)

Change Setting = {PlayingLeague}TeamRegistration to include some subset of the Registration steps. ie Remove Add New Team, Register Team

Set Setting = {PlayingLeague}RegistrationOpen to reflect which PlayingLeagues are available in the Register Team Playing League drop down box. Be careful to correctly spell the Playing Leagues. Using this setting you can close one PlayingLeague while allowing others to be open. No change is probably needed if Register Team is no longer active.

Change Setting = PlayDates to reflect the Saturdays and Sundays of the upcoming Season. This is necessary to facilitate the Tools-Schedule

Change Setting = BracketStage from RequestedBracket to Bracket

Change Setting = Matches to establish who can manipulate the Matches table. May want to set ClubOfficer, Scheduler and TeamStaff to 'Read'

Change Topic

Find the Topic with tag=Detail{PlayingLeague}Regsitration and Title = {PlayingLeague} Registration Open Edit the tag for this Topic (Add an'X' to the end of the tag.) Find the Topic with Title = {PlayingLeague} Registration Closed Set the tag for this Topic as tag=Detail{PlayingLeague}Regsitration

Change Topic with Tag=InformationBracket to reflect use of Bracket and not RequiestedBracket

Check Brackets

Go to Information:Brackets for the {PlayingLeague}
Look for errors in Registration

Check Teams

Go to Manage-Teams for the {PlayingLeague} Look for teams with Bracket specified Look for Teams with Status = 'Editing'.

Look for Teams missing seeding information. Look for duplicate Teams. Look for Teams that need to have their Name edited.

Create a Whats New / Main Page

Go to Manage-Events Add a What's New indicating that Registration is Closed and when brackets will be available for review.
Go to Manage-Topics Change Tag={PlayingLeague}MainPage
