Guest Players for Redwood Spring LeaguePrintable

Spring League Philosophy

Spring soccer is intended to 'count for nothing'. No trophies are awarded. Results are not used in determining promotion and relegation. The spring is the time for new teams to form, for teams to try out new players, and for teams to experiment with different tactics.

Redwood Spring Guest Players

Any team playing in the Redwood Spring League can use any age appropriate CYSA registered Player.

  • Players can play at their age level or they can play up.
A player that has a pass for an older team (the Player normally plays'up') can guest on an age appropriate team.
  • Players can play on any team playing in Redwood Spring.
Players can guest on a team in a different Club or different Registration League.
  • Players are not restricted by Division (Class) of their teams.
Players with a pass from a Division 3 (Class 3) team can guest on Division 1 (Class 1) teams. Players with a pass from a Division 1 (Class 1) team can guest on Division 3 (Class 3) teams.
  • Girls can guest on boys teams.
Boys are not allowed to guest on girls teams.
