How to export data to a .csv spreadsheet filePrintable

In many places you can download a data to a .csv file. A csv (comma separated values) file can be read by many spreadsheet programs, including Microsoft Excel.

  1. In the criteria area, put a checked check mark in front of the data that you want to see. Do not put a check mark in front of 'Actions'.
  2. Enter criteria values to limit the data you will see. Depending on the table that you are in, you can limit by Date, TeamID, User, etc.
  3. Select a Show value that will give you all the data that you are looking for.
  4. Click Show. Make adjustments as necessary to the criteria and click Show again.
  5. Click on the Download symbol download

Depending on your computer desktop configuration, you will have the option to save the csv file or view the csv file in a spreadsheet application.

Note: It may not be possible to simply load this data back up into the database. Some fields may be 'pointers' in the database. At this time (2009) the ability to bulk upload data into the database is restricted to the Administrator.
